Max Goldstein has been confronted by death, betrayal, and unwanted expectations. He must work to find the delicate balance of a love that has been tested and a family that has been broken. Returning to the warmth of Wilson’s arms, he finds the only place he can be truly healed. Unfortunately, teetering on the edge of losing everything he’s ever wanted, Max must make decisions that pull at his sense of responsibility and push at his desire to protect the life he’s found with Wilson.

When Wilson Mooney is thrust into adulthood, she never expects her childhood demons to come knocking. Struggling to balance the delicate nature of her relationship with Max and the burning sting of betrayal; Wilson realizes she must dig deep within her soul to find forgiveness. Will she allow circumstances out of her control to shape her future? Or will she find the strength and maturity to go beyond eighteen and have the life she desires with the man she loves?

Will Wilson and Max ever get to have their happily ever after?

Wilson, Wilson, Wilson. What am I going to do with you? I know she was forced into telling Max about the kiss she shared with Nick because of Cindy, that spiteful bitch. I feel some what bad for talking bad about a teenage girl, but she’s a straight up bitch. I feel like Wilson has cried so so much, her face and nose must be raw at this point and she’s still crying. Yes I know, it’s a terrible thing to go through and I would probably cry that much too. But, I can’t imagine what I would be dealing with for the next few days.

Honestly, I don’t think anyone can blame the poor girl, in such a short time she lost the two most important people to her, the people who raised her. Yes, they put her in boarding school but it was probably for the best. Then she meets Max and they end up secretly dating and she falls in love with his family, to have something you never really had would be amazing. Then Frank dies and their secret is out, in the span of 24 hours Frank dies and then Calvin tells everyone the truth. It’s all so fast and there really isn’t any time, I’d deal with it the same way.

She thought she had lost Max for good when stupid Cindy insinuated that something was going on with Nick, leave it to Cindy to do that. Of course that’s not the end of it either. So much happens in this book too, I love that Gretchen can pack so much drama into these books. I needed popcorn to get through them and we didn’t have any, so I settled for pretzel sticks, whatever works, right? I do suggest that you have some sort of snack to get through these books though.

Hey all, welcome to my blog! I'm Meagan and I live in Central NY, I've been reading since I was 14 years old and it all started with James Patterson's 'Sam's Letters to Jennifer'. I took the book with me every where I thought I might have a second to read. It's been my go to book as well and I can't imagine what I would do if I never read that. When I'm not reading, which is almost never, you can find me watching my favorite shows which include Bones, Vampire Diaries, Grey's Anatomy, Castle, The Originals, Once Upon A Time, NCIS, The O.C. and Hawaii Five-O! When ever I start a book, I'm almost always instantly hooked, I will stay up all night reading if I can't put it down just so I know the happy ending. My favorite authors include Julie Prestsater, R.S. Grey, Leigh Talbert Moore, Jenn Sterling, P.C. and Kristen Cast, Richelle Mead, Lauren Kate, Gillian Flynn, Kandi Steiner, Brittainy C. Cherry, Staci Hart, Molly McAdams and James Patterson. I always love learning about new authors and talking books, if you'd like to get in touch, feel free to send me a DM on either instagram or facebook.
