In July of 2018, my best friend and I drove from Mississippi to Denver, Colorado for the first Book Bonanza, hosted by The Bookworm Box if you’d like to see pictures from our travels, all of which are pictures from the drive, because we didn’t have extra time and money to explore Denver, but I’ll add funny pictures too, click here. It was a weekend of firsts, a weekend of being exhausted and a weekend of meeting so many new people. I didn’t walk away with nearly as many books as I did from the Big Apple event, but my canvas was full of signatures, I had more swag than I could even think to organize and a smile on my face. Each Author I’ve met, if I’ve read a book of theirs, I’ll link it under their picture, noting if it’s a Kindle Unlimited book, as well as a link to their Goodreads account and website. If you have read one of the authors I haven’t I would love to know what your favorite or top rated is, leave a comment below and let me know!

Kim Jones is one funny person. I haven’t read one of her books yet, but I have watched all of the Snobby Author episodes her and Sloan Howell did, they were really funny. When I met Kim, the only thing I asked of her was to sign Sloan’s book and write something funny, she laughed and did just that.

Colleen Hoover is such a sweet person, I know from what she talked about with Book Bonanza, it was very stressful. But she put on a brave face and would not stop signing until everyone that wanted to meet her was able to.
My favorite book that Colleen has published would be Slammed, it’s such a good book, and the quotes from The Avett Brothers was a nice touch, this book is how I discovered them and now I’m a little obsessed.

Sara Ney is so sweet in person, even if you do pronounce her name wrong, which I’m pretty sure I still say it wrong. I have yet to read one of Sara’s books, so if you have a recommendation, comment below!

Amy Harmon is super sweet, I haven’t read any of her books, but I hear that Making Faces, available in KU, is a really good book, I even have a signed copy of it.

While Caylie Marcoe was not an author signing at the event, I’ve read her Xtreme Bachelor books and instantly knew who she was, when I finally looked down and saw her name tag. I’m pretty sure I scared her with how I yelled “OMG I know you!” but after I asked for a picture, I think I made up for that.
Find Caylie and her books on Goodreads, at this time I was unable to find a website for her as the one linked to her goodreads.

Okay, T.M. Frazier? She’s actually one of the coolest people and her husband? He’s so helpful to her at signings. I think they’re real life couple goals. I haven’t read one of her books yet, so please recommend one for me!

Kenzie Hart is up next and while I’ve slacked on most books, I highly recommend her book, I Fall Apart, available in KU, it’s emotional, so come prepared. This was Kenzie’s first event signing at and I’d say she handled it like a champ!

The first time I met Jillian Dodd was at her Chaos in Cocoa event, which is also the event where I met Kandi Steiner for the first time, it was an event put on for just her facebook group and it was so much fun! This is also the event where I met my best friend and a few other people I’m very close to, so I’ll forever be thankful for taking that leap.
My top book from Jillian this time would have to be That Boy, available in KU, it’s a very cute and emotional book, a coming of age book and the characters are great.

S. L. Jennings was really cool to meet, I mean, look at her hair! I haven’t read any of her books yet, so please hit me with recommendations!

K. L. Grayson, if ya’ll knew how long I waited to meet her you’d understand just how happy I was when I found out she would be signing, I had a physical copy, brand new, of Where We Belong, for so long, just waiting to have her signature in it and I finally have it! Where We Belong is also my top rated book by K. L. Grayson.

Seth King was pretty cool to meet! I dig his style, everyone should own something with sequins on it at some point in their lives. I have yet to read one of his books, so hit me with your recommendations!

Willow Aster is so pretty and I loved meeting her! I don’t really have much to say, I haven’t read any of her books, but I have been recommended 5,331 Miles, available in KU!

Stuart Reardon & Jane Harvey-Berrick, I have yet to read Jane’s books with Stu, but I could not turn down going to their table and I have no shame in saying most of it was to get a picture with Stu, but I definitely will be looking into her books in the future.

Kathleen Brooks, y’all, I was at dinner the first night in Denver when she walked up to our table to talk to one of the girls we were eating with, we had just met these ladies and this is why I love the book community, they invited us to eat with them because the hotel restaurant was so packed. Anyway, we’re sitting there eating and Kathleen walks up, I didn’t recognize her right away but when I saw her name tag, I full on shouted “OHMYGOD I KNOW YOU!” and then proceeded to tell her how much I loved her Blue Grass series.
Bluegrass Undercover is my top book of hers, except I highly recommend reading all of her Bluegrass books, in order because they do interconnect.

J. D. Hollyfield is so sweet! I know I say this about everyone but she really is. As per usual, I haven’t read one of her books yet, so hit me with that recommendation in the comments below!

B.B. Easton’s book is becoming a tv show! I know the news of this wasn’t out at the time of Book Bonanza, but now it is and I highly urge everyone to read 44 Chapter’s About 4 Men.

RS Grey or, Rachel, is such a sweet person to talk to. I absolutely loved getting the chance to meet her, and her husband Lance when I was at this signing. I don’t have any funny meet stories for Rachel, however, her signature move with her covers grabs my attention with all of her books and that’s why I walked away with five of her titles from this signing.
With that said, I have to choose Scoring Wilder, available in KU, as my top pick for Rachel, it’s such a fun read, even if I do want to stab one of the characters every time I remember her.

Brittainy Cherry, still one of the best soul crushers I have ever had the pleasure of meeting in person. She has yet to write an actual Rom-Com, which she always says is next and I keep hoping for one, because it never fails that at some point in her books I end up sobbing, it happens so much that I started telling her she needed to supply me with tissues before I would read another book of hers, which was a lie, but it always seems like I have enough tissues, then I’ll read the book and before I know it I’m using my shirt, toilet paper or even paper towels.
To choose a top rated BCherry book is really hard, like it is to choose any top book, but alas, I have to go with The Silent Waters, available in KU, it’s such an emotional roller coaster. This book was no different than reading The Fire Between High & Lo, and by that I mean that I still ran out of tissues.

Abbi Glines was another author I have waited years to meet, while I didn’t have any physical copies of her books to sign she did sign my canvas and that was enough for me! It’s hard to choose a top book for Abbi’s because I love both the Rosemary Beach series and the Seabreeze series, but alas, my top one is Fallen Too Far, it’s such a good book, with both good people and…not so nice people. Blaire and Rush are one of my favorite book couples to date.

B. T. Urruela, I still have yet to read one of his books, despite meeting him twice. I don’t have much to say about BT, still, but he was nice, this time he only signed my canvas once.
Find BT and all of his books on Goodreads, unfortunately, I’m unable to find a website for BT at this time, I’ll update if I do find one!

Molly McAdams, y’all. The first meet with her is my favorite story to tell every one because I quite literally almost passed out. So, I became obsessed with all things Molly back in 2013, when she only had two books published and if you’ve been following her work that long then you know one of them was Taking Chances, not my top rated because I cried so much. So, in between panels, my friend and I were sitting down in the hotel lobby and I accidentally left my wristlet style wallet in one of the chairs and I didn’t realize it until we were almost through with the panel, freaked out, ran back to the lobby and ran into Kandi Steiner. So there I was, minding my own business talking to Kandi when I got this feeling and looked to my left and there Molly was, talking to another read. And I just stopped. Poor Kandi, she had no idea what was happening. Molly must have felt someone staring because she looked over the other persons shoulder and noticed me. One thing to know about Molly is she’s terrible with remembering faces and names, you have to tell her your facebook name and then she’ll remember. Luckily for me, we’ve been talking since at least 2014 and she knew me, I also have my Redemption themed tattoo. Through out the weekend I saw Molly and Cory in the hotel at least 4 different times and hugged her each time.
This years top rated book is From Ashes, because it’s the book that introduced her to me. It’s a very emotional book, though not as bad as Taking Chances!

This was my second time meeting Cambria Hebert and she was so, so sweet to talk to. I’ve read her entire Hashtag series, but #Nerd is my top pick! One of my signed books, though I can’t remember which one, was actually printed wrong and while it bugs me when they’re standing upright, I like having messed up books.

Jenn Sterling was the first author I saw at Book Bonanza that year, she had a cute little meet up with her author group and the fan girl moment was full force, she took it like a champ though and we took some really cute pictures.
My top JSter book has to be The Sweetest Game, available in KU, Cassie and Jack’s story is one of my favorites and I love that Jenn and Real Jack are back together. I love seeing their story unfold.

The first time I saw A. L. Jackson was actually in the bathroom and I had to control my self from screaming out another “OHMYGOD I know you!” and when I told her right before this picture, she told me I should have said hi. I haven’t read any of her books to recommend to you, so if you have a favorite, let me know!

It was pretty cool to meet E. L. James, and to snag this picture with her! Admittedly, I’ve on read the Fifty Shades books so, I would have to say that Fifty Shades Freed is my favorite, I loved everything about the ending to their story.

Tillie Cole is so sweet and honestly, if I could just listen to her talk forever, I would be happy with that. I’ve only read A Thousand Boy Kisses and it was the most emotional book, I cried so much and had to stop not far into the book.
