Traveling to and in NYC

Hey y’all, here is the post from my NYC Travels with my best friend, there aren’t a ton of pictures and I admit they aren’t the best, but it was still a fun trip and I can’t wait to be able to go back one day. We paid for one of the double-decker bus tours, where you can jump on and off at any location and I highly recommend that if you don’t have a friend who’s familiar with the city!

Looking at the sky is my favorite thing, which is partly why I like to travel so much.
For some reason, our GPS took us into New Jersey and then back into New York, just another state I can say I’ve been to.
I do NOT like big bridges, especially over a body of water.
I think the snapchat caption speaks for itself, but we actually stayed in two different hotels, this is the first one.
The lights were so pretty!
Though I’m not religious, I do think churches are are very pretty, especially this one!
The Sphere, a sculpture by german artist Fritz Koenig, located in Liberty Park, where the World Trade Center Memorial is. This piece survived the collapse of the World Trade Center towers.
My heart will forever ache at all of the lives lost in the September 11 attacks, the World Trade Center Memorial was achingly beautiful and one day, I hope to go inside and see what they’ve done.
I could never live in NYC but I would like to think I could live outside and visit often.
I think the buildings in NYC are so cool to look at!
The snapchat filter speaks for itself here, but where I’m from, there are no buildings this high.
Washington Square Park!
I wish I could remember where this was, unfortunately I can’t!
We didn’t get a chance to take the tour of the Statue of Liberty, and I’m sad I wasn’t able to get a decent picture.
Korean War Memorial by Mac Adams, The Battery.
Bronze Eagle by Albino Manca, Battery Park
American Merchant Mariners Memorial by Marisol Escobar, The Battery
Love. Beyond. Boarders. Mural by Nicopanda, Lower East Side
The view going over the Brooklyn bridge, this was so scary, on the top part of the tour bus.
Unfortunately, all trips have to end at some point, I’m not sure where this was on the way home, but I thought the trees were pretty with the leaves changing colors.

Hey all, welcome to my blog! I'm Meagan and I live in Central NY, I've been reading since I was 14 years old and it all started with James Patterson's 'Sam's Letters to Jennifer'. I took the book with me every where I thought I might have a second to read. It's been my go to book as well and I can't imagine what I would do if I never read that. When I'm not reading, which is almost never, you can find me watching my favorite shows which include Bones, Vampire Diaries, Grey's Anatomy, Castle, The Originals, Once Upon A Time, NCIS, The O.C. and Hawaii Five-O! When ever I start a book, I'm almost always instantly hooked, I will stay up all night reading if I can't put it down just so I know the happy ending. My favorite authors include Julie Prestsater, R.S. Grey, Leigh Talbert Moore, Jenn Sterling, P.C. and Kristen Cast, Richelle Mead, Lauren Kate, Gillian Flynn, Kandi Steiner, Brittainy C. Cherry, Staci Hart, Molly McAdams and James Patterson. I always love learning about new authors and talking books, if you'd like to get in touch, feel free to send me a DM on either instagram or facebook.
