Hazed (Palm South University #6) by Kandi Steiner

Half the crew is back at Palm South.
The other half has graduated.

Jess, Ashlei, and Erin move downtown together after graduation. While Ashlei recovers from heartbreak and makes a new plan of attack, Erin is trying to survive law school — and her new relationship. And after the explosive season finale of Ritual, Jess has found herself in quite the pickle.

Meanwhile at PSU, Bear and Adam are in their final semesters, which means one last Spring Break to rule them all. That’s not the only thing on Bear’s mind, though — not after he has a realization that changes everything. And while Adam and Cassie are finally back on track, their next chapter may not be as easy.

Skyler and Kip are back together after a semester apart, but while they expected a fairy tale ending, a newcomer might throw a wrench in their plans.

Kandi Steiner never disappoints, especially when it comes to the PSU gang. She actually never disappoints regardless but the one thing we can count on is the twists and turns she adds into the PSU books. The gang is back again and the only difference is that Erin, Jess and Lei have graduated and moved down town. Rest assured we still see them just as much as we have when they were at PSU.

There really isn’t too much I can say about Hazed, due to the nature of the books and how much happens earlier on that we’re still dealing with this season, but I’ll do my best.

Erin has a lot of growth this season, though she still frustrates the hell out of me up until the very end of Hazed and if you’ve read BN4, you would know why. The explosion that happens at the end of Ritual for Jess is still an issue this season, and I think it only gets worse but I’m honestly living for the drama. Lei, the blow up that happened for her with Brandon in Ritual is still affecting her in Hazed, but just like Erin, we see her growth and moving on..or do we? Cassie and Adam face their own struggles, with Adam graduating and deciding which direction to take his life next and Cassie still having a semester left, but they’re stronger now and I forever ship them. Bear, my heart aches for him so much, between this being his last semester and realizing everything he’s doing for the last time, deciding between staying in Palm South or moving back to Pittsburgh. Skyler seems to hit a rough patch this season and while I love her endlessly, as she was one of my favorites from the very beginning, I wish she would have spoken to Kip about things before letting it get to where it does.

I can not believe that Greek is coming so soon, we’re going to be at the series finale before we know it, the last 7 years have been dedicated to these characters and watching their mistakes and so much of their growth, I both can not wait to see how Kandi ties everything up but at the same time, just like my favorite tv show.

Kandi Steiner is a bestselling author and whiskey connoisseur living in Tampa, FL. Best known for writing “emotional rollercoaster” stories, she loves bringing flawed characters to life and writing about real, raw romance — in all its forms. No two Kandi Steiner books are the same, and if you’re a lover of angsty, emotional, and inspirational reads, she’s your gal.

An alumna of the University of Central Florida, Kandi graduated with a double major in Creative Writing and Advertising/PR with a minor in Women’s Studies. She started writing back in the 4th grade after reading the first Harry Potter installment. In 6th grade, she wrote and edited her own newspaper and distributed it to her classmates. Eventually, the principal caught on and the newspaper was quickly halted, though Kandi tried fighting for her “freedom of press.” She took particular interest in writing romance after college, as she has always been a diehard hopeless romantic, and likes to highlight all the challenges of love as well as the triumphs.

When Kandi isn’t writing, you can find her reading books of all kinds, talking with her extremely vocal cat, and spending time with her friends and family. She enjoys live music, traveling, anything heavy in carbs, beach days, movie marathons, craft beer, and sweet wine — not necessarily in that order.

Hey all, welcome to my blog! I'm Meagan and I live in Central NY, I've been reading since I was 14 years old and it all started with James Patterson's 'Sam's Letters to Jennifer'. I took the book with me every where I thought I might have a second to read. It's been my go to book as well and I can't imagine what I would do if I never read that. When I'm not reading, which is almost never, you can find me watching my favorite shows which include Bones, Vampire Diaries, Grey's Anatomy, Castle, The Originals, Once Upon A Time, NCIS, The O.C. and Hawaii Five-O! When ever I start a book, I'm almost always instantly hooked, I will stay up all night reading if I can't put it down just so I know the happy ending. My favorite authors include Julie Prestsater, R.S. Grey, Leigh Talbert Moore, Jenn Sterling, P.C. and Kristen Cast, Richelle Mead, Lauren Kate, Gillian Flynn, Kandi Steiner, Brittainy C. Cherry, Staci Hart, Molly McAdams and James Patterson. I always love learning about new authors and talking books, if you'd like to get in touch, feel free to send me a DM on either instagram or facebook.
