The Right Player Kandi Steiner September 24, 2020
From bestselling author Kandi Steiner comes a sexy, hilarious, opposites-attract sports romance set in the lively city of Chicago…
I have a three date rule — but it’s not what you think. See, I’ve been told I’m the “good time girl,” not the one you take home to Mom. And while that label stung at first, I’ve since embraced it — living the wild and free life and sticking to a three date max. That’s just enough time to have some fun and snuff out the possibility of catching feelings. And it’s been working for me for years…
Until Makoa Kumaka.
Sadly, he also has a three date rule — and it’s the exact opposite of mine. From the second I meet him, all I can think about is stripping down that six-foot-five Herculean hunk of a man. But like the gentleman I wish he wasn’t, he’s making me wait. The more time we spend together, the more I feel those pesky emotions creeping in. I’m even tempted to trust him, but blame it on my past or my instincts, I can’t shake the feeling that he’s hiding something…
I’ve been playing the game forever, and no man has ever won my heart — which meant they never had the power to break it.

Super cute short story, I always had wondered what was going on inside of Mia’s head during senior year. Austin and Mia’s story is a second chance romance that fits perfectly within the Tender Hearts world.
As much as I loved reading more about Mia and Austin’s story, I think I liked them more as background characters in Fumbled Hearts and Defenseless Hearts, though that is not to say I didn’t enjoy reading about them, because I did, it was nice to see how they ended up and to be back in that world, if even for a short moment. If you’d like to read about Mia and Austin as background characters, click the links above to add the other books to your TBR.

The Wreckage of Us Brittainy C Cherry September 9, 2020
Never in a million years did I think it would be Ian Parker who saved me…
I know I should stay away from Ian Parker.
But when my drug-dealing stepdad kicks me out, I have nowhere to go. Squatting in an abandoned shed on Ian’s grandpa’s farm seems like as good a plan as any. Ian finds me there, of course, and he insists on me moving into his spare room. I should say no, but the appeal of a roof and a warm bed is too much. Not to mention Ian’sbrown eyes and strong arms.
We’re nothing alike, but the spark between us is undeniable. My life is finally looking up. Until I call the cops on my stepdad and unintentionally get my pregnant mom arrested. Now I have to sacrifice my dreams to take care of my mom’s baby. She’s the only family I have left. Meanwhile, Ian’s band is taking off; his dreams are coming true. Ian is my one chance at love. I just hope he doesn’t become the one chance that got away.
I needed the job at Eres Ranch in order to save up money for my sister or brother. I needed money to buy prenatal vitamins for Mama. Money to make sure her fridge was full. Money to make sure that somehow the baby could come into the world with a little bit more than I had.
Then, with the rest of the money, I’d buy a one-way ticket and leave Eres and never look back. Somehow, I’d convince Mama to come with me, too, with the new baby. The last thing she needed to do was raise a child with Charlie around.
Mama was right—we did have a roof over our heads because of Charlie. But just because someone gave you four walls to stay in didn’t mean they weren’t a prison. I couldn’t wait for the day that I collected enough money to get myself my own four walls.
Those four walls would be filled with love, not threats. With happiness, not fear.
And the name Charlie Riley would be a distant memory.
Big Paw rubbed the back of his neck. “We were looking for ranch hands, not some girl who’s probably too afraid to get her hands dirty.”
“I’m not afraid of that at all. I’ll get down and dirty with the rest.”
“You have to be able to lift over sixty pounds.”
“I’ll lift seventy.”
He cocked an eyebrow and leaned forward. “You have to be here before the sun rises, and if you don’t finish the task, you stay after dusk, and there ain’t no overtime. You get paid by the daily tasks being completed, not by the hours you spend here. If you get done early, you can leave early. If you get done late, you’re stuck here late. Also, I don’t believe in three strikes. I believe in one. Mess up, and you’re gone. You understand, girl?”
If anyone else called me “girl,” I’d slam my fist straight into their nose to show them just how much of a girl I was, but hearing it come from Big Paw wasn’t an insult. He called it as he saw it in a straightforward way. He’d call any man younger than him “boy,” too, because he could. I was sure people who identified differently would be offended by the title Big Paw would give them, but he was too old to bother correcting himself.
Old dog, new tricks and all.
“I understand.” I nodded. “I’ll be the hardest worker out there, I promise.”
He grumbled some more and rubbed his beard. “Fine, but don’t come complaining to me when you ruin your favorite pair of shoes in the pigpens. You report to the stables tomorrow at noon sharp for training with my grandson, Ian. He’ll be in charge of getting you up and running.”
I sat up a bit straighter as my stomach tightened. “Wait, Ian is training me?” I frowned. “Are you sure Marcus or James or someone can’t take me on?”
“No. Those boys are already training a few other ranch hands.” He raised his brow once more. “You aren’t already making yourself difficult, are you?”
I shook my head. “No, sir—er—Big Paw. Sorry. That is fine. Noon tomorrow. I’ll be there.”
The idea of being trained by Ian Parker made me want to gag. He was known as the playboy rock star of Eres. Ian had graduated three years before me, and I’d been the lucky girl with my locker right beside his during my freshman year. Which meant I’d had a front-and-center viewing of him swapping spit with whatever small-town groupie was wrapped around his pinkie at the time.
Author Brittainy Cherry is an Amazon #1 bestselling author.
She has been in love with words since the day she took her first breath. She graduated from Carroll University with a Bachelor Degree in Theatre Arts and a minor in Creative Writing.
Her novels have been published in 18+ countries around the world. Brittainy lives in Brookfield, Wisconsin with her fur babies.
I’m the only Dixon brother to step up when our family crumbled. When I took over the ranch, I lost everything, career included. My heart hadn’t been in it anyway. It couldn’t. A girl left with it over a dozen years ago.
Now she’s back. Different hair. New style. Kid clutching her hand. Not a trace of the Madison Black I knew. A down-home girl with the sweetest smile and drawl. The rebel with a spirit that glowed so bright.
But with one conversation, that girl starts to reappear. One kiss, the years apart fade away. One night, I vow to never let her go again.
But some pasts refuse to stay buried. And when the heart-wrenching truth behind her leaving is revealed, it might ruin us all.
But Hunter Dixon? I knew I loved him from the second I read his name all the way back in Fix. I’ve been dying for Glow since the very beginning and as per usual, Molly does not disappoint.
Hunter and Madison’s story has all of the usual, with a little more than we asked for. But nothing in their story is too much, it’s all things we needed but didn’t know it. Life isn’t always sunshine and rainbows, thunderstorms have to happen in order to get those pretty rainbows, just like the hard stuff that happens to us in life.
I started this book almost as soon as the arc email came through, but I didn’t finish it that fast, mostly because I was busy but also because I was in denial with some events that happen in Glow. But due to Molly’s persistence , I forged ahead and had the worst thing happen to me…I had to go to work for a solid 7 hour shift, in the middle of the chapter, the chapter that brings everything together, the one that makes it all officially click in your head and on paper. You know when you’re reading and you end on a happy or even okay part for the night, or in my case right before work? And you think “I should stop so I’m not left in suspense.” I was at one of those okay stopping points and because Molly told me to keep reading, I did. And I had to stop. In the middle of the pivotal point. I’m pretty sure I stayed up late that night to finish it and it was so worth it. I also flooded Molly’s messenger because it was so good.
I’m saying it here, for the first time to someone besides Molly and my best friend…Beau Dixon? His story is going to crush me and I can not wait. Beau and Savannah? Their story is the one I’ve been waiting for. Bring on the feels Molly.
Molly grew up in California but now lives in the oh-so-amazing state of Texas with her husband, daughter, and fur babies. When she’s not diving into the world of her characters, some of her hobbies include hiking, snowboarding, traveling, and long walks on the beach … which roughly translates to being a homebody with her hubby and dishing out movie quotes. She has a weakness for crude-humored movies and fried pickles, and loves curling up in a fluffy comforter during a thunderstorm … or under one in a bathtub if there are tornado’s. That way she can pretend they aren’t really happening.
Nightshade (Redemption #3) Molly McAdams November 9, 2017
The heart-stopping final installment in New York Times bestselling author Molly McAdams’s Redemption series. *The Redemption series is a series of interconnected romantic suspense standalone’s*
My life has never been my own. From the time I could walk, I was trained to be the mob’s hardened assassin. To be a monster. I’ve been told what to do, when to kill, and who to love. The minute I strayed, I lost everything.
Then I met Jessica.
She swept into my life like a storm of heartache, seduction, and intrigue. She’s everything I hate, but with one look, I can’t stay away. With one touch, she ignites a craving unlike anything I’ve ever known.
But her secrets threaten to destroy everything closest to me. Including her…
Together we’re poison. A destructive combination of darkness and chaos. And I want to savor every drop in my veins.
I say that with love, I really do. I needed this book to be written and published before I was even done with Firefly. I needed to know Kieran’s story, I had so many questions and I felt my heart break when his did. I needed to find a happily ever after for him. I needed that happy ending so much that I even told Molly if I didn’t get it, I’d go camp outside her P.O. box until she or her husband showed up and then demand it, I was kidding though, kind of. Okay, not really, Texas is nice this time of year.
So for all you know, I’m sitting outside Molly’s P.O. Box waiting, I have snacks and water, don’t worry.
I love when an author communicates with their readers and puts up with our crazy messages, lets face it, we’re all crazy. I said a lot of things to Molly when I was reading this book, I would love to share them with you but I fear they’ll spoil something for you and that’s honestly the last thing I want to do for anyone. It’s like going to the movies and finding out someone is watching it for the second time and decides to tell everyone that so and so die.
Speaking of death…I did ask Molly to please tell me if someone dies a horrible and painful death. Of course she wouldn’t tell me so I started plotting a few deaths, if you’re wondering who, you’ll have to buy the book.

Firefly (Redemption #2) Molly McAdams July 15, 2017
*The next captivating installment in New York Times bestselling author Molly McAdams’s Redemption series.*
As the Princess of the Irish-American Mob, there’s no shortage of men ready to help guard and protect me. To slowly suffocate me to the point of seeking freedom–a place where I can breathe.
Kieran Hayes has been saving me for as long as I can remember. It’s in his blood, and one of the many reasons I fell in love with him. Until my favorite trait became his biggest flaw, making me resent the man I love. An unwavering warrior, his love for me has been shrouded by those instincts.
Save Lily. Protect Lily. Hide Lily. Cage Lily.
What I wasn’t prepared for was Dare–the man who would set my world on fire with just one touch. He saw straight through to my soul, as though he knew I was desperate for freedom, and silently demanded my heart from the beginning.
And I didn’t expect Dare to be Demitri Borello–the reason for so many deaths in my family. A man who will take my life the moment he finds out who I am.
Despite it all, I’ll love him until that moment comes.
A fire will die if there is no oxygen for it to consume. Ours is rapidly stealing every last breath we can sacrifice to it.
Another day, another Molly book that hooked me with the first sentence of the prologue. Except I wasn’t skeptical to read this one. There is a very small connection to Blackbird in this book, somewhere in Blackbird you hear about the Irish-American mob, this is that book. Get ready to feel it all.
It’s been four years since Lily O’Sullivan, Princess to the the Holloway gang woke up to a dark room, knowing someone was in there and that it wasn’t Kieran, he was as silent as the night. Who ever was in her room was trying and failing at quieting their steps. It’s been four years since Lily watched her brother Aric get shot by a Borello member and die. It’s been four years and she still wakes up in a cold sweat, screaming, wishing someone could have saved him. What’s interesting now is that Lily is remember things that happened, of course it’s from the nightmares that still plague her at night.
“One of the other rooms?” “No. He said it was in here somewhere.”
What was it they were looking for? Who is he? Why was Aric not surprised to see members from the Borello gang in his sisters room?
Something about Fin and Bailey rubbed me the wrong way long before I ever read something from Fins mouth. Actually more than just those two, because even if she is a girl, she deserves to be in that room and, after all, it is the anniversary of her brothers death. Now I know mob members aren’t supposed to be nice but they could be a tiiiiiny bit more sympathetic, especially for someone like Lily, who has Nightshade as a boyfriend. Kieran is a scary guy, silent as the night. Someone who doesn’t think knocking someone else out is the way to go about things. But my heart breaks for both Lily and Kieran, this isn’t the life they wanted. But because of what happened four years ago his life has revolved around one thing.
Save Lily. Protect Lily. Hide Lily. Cage Lily.
All she wants is to run away with him, but he knows if they leave, the Borello’s will follow and know she’s alive. My heart aches every time she thinks about her past experiences with Kieran, or when she thinks of the broken promises, knowing they’ll never happen now.
“I never wanted the man who would pick a fight with the devil to bring me back to life. I never wanted a man who would lock me up and treat me like a prisoner instead of loving me as his girlfriend. I never wanted Nightshade, Kieran. I wanted you.”
My heart continued to break every time Lily was with Kieran, trapped in the guest house or his old room in the house. You can feel it, she wants to be free and with Dare, he makes her feel free. At the same time, my heart broke for Kieran too, it was as if he didn’t know how to be her boyfriend, and I guess if you think about it, he really didn’t, he thought everything he was doing was clear as day to Lily, but when someone feels as trapped as Lily does..it’s so hard to understand.
Oh Dare, it’s hard to love him at first. You know he’s a Borello and that the Borellos killed Aric, but what I don’t understand is why he wants Lily dead so bad? What happened to him four years ago? Why is Johnny such a psycho? But I love his little family, regardless of them being Borello’s. I love Libby and Einstein and don’t get me started in on the twins. #MaverickAndDiggsAreMine I. Will. Fight. You. “When I looked in that direction, I found Diggs hunched over the Island counter with a dopey grin as he watched us, with that massive sandwich falling apart between his hands.”
I seriously love Maverick and Diggs. And Libby and Einstein. They’re all the BEST. I love that this book doesn’t center around JUST Lily and Dare, you can see the love Dare has for his family. It’s obvious that Dare never wanted this life, be he took over because he had to and he’s making things better. I just hope it’s enough for Lily. I hope it’s enough for his family.
Diggs pretended to stab himself with the bowl. “Dude, we spent all day setting it up. Let us impress the nerd with our fort making skills.” “There’s food,” Maverick added. “Dude, so much food,” Diggs said as he shoved more popcorn and his mouth. “Did I say there was a fort? The whole theater room as a fort.“ A soft laugh sounded from the girl in my arms. “Didn’t you just eat?” Maverick huffed. “Popcorn and candy, newbie. There’s always room for it.”
I love the twins, if I haven’t expressed that enough, they’re just so lovable. I know they can be lethal but damn, what I wouldn’t give to have them be my…uh friends, yeah my friends. Aside from the twins being two of the best characters to ever grace this book, we all know what’s going to happen, right? Everyone dies in a giant blood bath. No no, I’m totally kidding.
Or am I?
I guess you’ll need to purchase the book below. See what I did there?

Blackbird (Redemption #1) Molly McAdams February 25, 2017
I live in a world few know exist. I’ve trained for this. I know what to say, what to do, and how to act. I’ve perfected the lethal calm required for this life. Now it’s time to buy my first girl. But all it takes is one look at the brave girl who starts singing mid-auction for that calm to slip. Briar Chapman is going to be the death of me, and I don’t care. I’ll take every day with her until that death comes, and I’ll welcome it when it does.
On the outside, Lucas Holt is what nightmares are made of. A man cloaked in darkness, with sin-filled eyes and an enticing grin. A devil so devastatingly beautiful and cruel that his very presence instills fear. But beneath his terrifying, ever-calm exterior is an affectionate man haunted by a past that refuses to stay buried. And Lucas looks at me as though he’s finally found the only person who can make it all go away. We’re a battle of the brightest day and the darkest night—and I want to lie in the wake of our war.
I admit, I was skeptical when I started this book. I put it off for about two months, give or take, because I knew it centered around human sex trafficking. I love love love Molly’s books, always have, but this one was an “eh” for me. That is until I started it. From the prologue I was hooked and by the end of chapter one I couldn’t stop. I needed this story, reading for me is my own personal drug.
Briar is just a regular girl, although she grew up with money and continues to live a life with money, her fiancé is well off given that his mother is the Governor. She learned that her parents money was disgusting, which is why she works. It wasn’t until she realized why they suddenly paid so much attention to her that she loathed everything to do with them and their money. You see, she sings when she’s scared and she has a beautiful voice, so why not exploit it? Except her voice is hers and she wants to keep it that way. No one understands, not even Kyle and that makes me sad.
By the end of chapter four I was in love with Lucas, I know I know. He’s the enemy, Meagan, how can you love him? Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t like that he bought women or that he associated himself with other people that bought, used and manipulated women like it was okay. It’s not, but there’s something about Lucas that makes you love him.
You’ll see.
I was 100% with out a doubt hooked after the first sentence in the prologue and it only got worse as I read farther into the world Molly wrote about. I know I said I was skeptical and I was, that will never change but as Molly said to me, she’s never steered us wrong and she never will. This book gave me all the feels, at one point I ran around my (thankfully empty) house screaming, as well as rocking back and forth whispering to myself “I can’t go on” my mom thought I was broken, and I was. But Molly fixed it all by the last sentence and I was okay with it. You will be too.

School is BACK IN SESSION! Have you caught up on the series yet? If you love new adult/college romance, angst, humor, and heat — you’ll LOVE Palm South University.
Ritual (PSU #5) Kandi Steiner July 30, 2020
A new year at Palm South University means new classes, new chances at love, and of course, new fresh-off-the-grill drama.
Cassie faces a ghost from her past in her new Genetics class while Adam fights for his brothers’ respect as second-term president. Jess has some fun with her latest distraction, Erin discovers an unexpected friend at therapy, Ashlei deals with a threatening new intern and Skyler balances her new job with her new long-distance relationship.
Bear finds himself lost after the bomb drop last semester, and when an unexpected blast from the past shows up at the end of the semester, he won’t be the only one.
How does one even begin to review a book like Ritual, or even all of the PSU books? It’s definitely how Kandi describes it, like your favorite drama tv show, in her case it was Greek. It’s a struggle, for sure, but I’m going to do my best.
Ritual starts off almost right after Legacy ended, a new school year for the PSU crew, which really means more drama. I mean, how could it not be dramatic? We have six different POV’s and that in itself is a rollercoaster, don’t get me wrong, I live for these books. I would read about the struggles that they go through for the rest of my life if Kandi would keep writing them, as is, I’m already dreading the day I finish season 7, I’ve been attached to these characters since the end of season 1. It’s hard to review a book with 6 POV’s because each character has their own struggles and unfortunately this is definitely a series that needs to be read in order.
Cassie is the youngest, she’s super smart but when I say I wanted to slap her around a bit this season, you should believe me. Erin, while I hated her a lot last season, I also know why she is the way she is now and if you read Black Number Four, you probably hated her then too. Skyler is my favorite this season, I think, she’s so different from who she was at the beginning of these books, I love who she is from the start. Jess, she’s a badass now and I low key want to be her. Bear, he kills me this season and I know why, but it’s so hard to read about, I just wanted to cry every time I read about him. Adam, y’all should know I love him, I know most of you want to kill him but he’s my favorite and, he was right. That’s all I’m going to say. Ashlei is also very different this season, I mean, with age comes growth? That’s definitely valid for every one in this season and I hope they continue to grow as better people, I can not wait to see what happens next season.
Grab your copies of all of the books, binge them now or you can grab just your copy of Ritual, all books are available on Kindle Unlimited.

Anxiously waiting for the next BB to come up, praying I score tickets and filling another pretty canvas.
In August of 2019, my best friend and I drove from Mississippi to Dallas, Texas for the second Book Bonanza, hosted by The Bookworm Box unfortunately we both slacked at taking any pictures of the drive, so the few we do have were added to this post, rather than have their own. It was a weekend of being exhausted and a weekend of meeting so many new people, as well as seeing a few of the same faces, but I don’t mind that at all! I didn’t walk away with more than 5 books that I didn’t bring with me, but my canvas was full of signatures, I had less swag than I did from the 2018 event and a smile on my face. Each author I’ve met, if I’ve read a book of theirs, I’ll link it under their picture, noting if it’s a Kindle Unlimited book, as well as a link to their Goodreads account and website. If you have read one of the authors I haven’t I would love to know what your favorite or top rated is, leave a comment below and let me know!
At this particular panel, the authors played a game and any time one of them used the word ‘book’ they got a point, the person with the most points had to wear the hotdog hat, RS Grey was the loser, but that was one of the funniest moments.
I haven’t read any of Kerrigan Byrne’s books before, but if you’re in Staci Hart’s reader group you know she’s boarder line obsessed with Kerrigan’s books, so I had to stop by and get a picture with her. If you have a recommendation, I’d love to here it!
Find Kerrigan and all of her books on Goodreads, then jump over to her website to find reading orders and to sign up for her newsletter!
Willow Aster is so pretty and I loved meeting her! I don’t really have much to say, I haven’t read any of her books, but I have been recommended 5,331 Miles, available in KU!

This was my second time meeting J. R. Rogue, however for some reason I didn’t get a picture the first time. She was just as sweet this time around as last time. I still haven’t read one of her books but I’m definitely changing that soon.
Find J. R. Rogue and all of her books on Goodreads, I was unable to find a website for her at this time.
J. D. Hollyfield is so sweet! I know I say this about everyone but she really is. As per usual, I still haven’t read one of her books yet, so hit me with that recommendation in the comments below!
Find J. D. Hollyfield and all of her books on Goodreads, at this time I was unable to find a website for her as the one linked to her goodreads is incorrect.
Jillian Dodd has some attractive inspirations for her books, who wouldn’t look at Danny freakin’ Diamond like that? With that being said, my top book from Jillian this time would have to be That Love, the fourth book in her That Boy series, it can be read as a standalone and is available in KU, it’s a very cute story and the characters are great.

Kenzie Hart is up next and while I’ve slacked on most books, I haven’t read her other books yet, so I still recommend I Fall Apart, available in KU, it’s emotional, so come prepared.

This was my first time meeting Debra Anastasia and to be honest, before I walked up to her table I had no idea who she was. That’s the best part about these book signings, I meet so many new authors and get to grab a picture with them to remember the moment. This shouldn’t be shocking, but I have yet to read one of her books, so hit me with the recommendations!

Brittainy Cherry, one of the best soul crushers I have ever had the pleasure of meeting in person. She has yet to write an actual Rom-Com, which she always says is next and I keep hoping for one, because it never fails that at some point in her books I end up sobbing, it happens so much that I started telling her she needed to supply me with tissues before I would read another book of hers, which was a lie, but it always seems like I have enough tissues, then I’ll read the book and before I know it I’m using my shirt, toilet paper or even paper towels.
To choose a top rated BCherry book is really hard, like it is to choose any top book, but alas, I have to go with Disgrace, available in KU, like all of Brittainy’s books it’s an emotional roller coaster, but the themes in this book were vastly different from the ones used in her element series, at least I think so.

B.B. Easton’s book is becoming a tv show! I’m pretty sure news of this wasn’t out at the time of Book Bonanza, but now it is! I haven’t read any of B.B.’s books yet but I’ve been told, repeatedly to read Praying for Rain.

Kandi freakin’ Steiner is up next. I won’t make you re-read the story of how I first met Kandi, if you haven’t read it, click here, this time seeing her? She was offering shots of whiskey with her readers and obviously I had to do one too! If you follow Kandi on social media you know that she has certain speeches she’ll give before doing a shot, so naturally I asked her to say one. I wish I could link videos, because I would totally put that here, all I can say is if given the chance to do a shot with Kandi, do it.
Choosing a top rated book of Kandi’s to recommend is really hard because she’s such a phenomenal author, as well as such a fun and amazing person to converse with, but A Love Letter to Whiskey, available in KU, is the winner this time.

The badass Staci Hart is next, this was the third time I was able to see Staci and honestly, this time I almost showed everyone in her line her boob because my arm pulled on her dress just enough, her assistant actually managed to get a picture of that, her face was priceless. And mine? It looks like I’m actually trying to see her cleavage. I wasn’t, I swear.
It’s really hard to choose a favorite book for any author, let alone one book in general. Note to the non readers, never ask a bookworm their favorite book, because we never know the answer to that. With that said, Piece of Work is my top rated Staci Hart book, I was given the chance to beta read this book for Staci and it was such a good read, I loved this book, as well as the whole Red Lipstick Coalition series, so much.

Third time meeting Cambria Hebert and I still stand by what I’ve said before, she’s been so sweet each time and even with the swag shortage she had with this Book Bonanza, I’d like to think she had a good time meeting so many new people. series, I still love the entire Hashtag series, so #Poser is my top pick, this time.

Kennedy Ryan is the absolute best, she’s also very tall. Or, I’m just short. Long Shot was my top pick for this year’s signing, because it’s real. However, I also want to praise her All the King’s Men Duet, just like Long Shot, there are real issues in this book. I highly encourage you to pick up all three of these books, all available in KU.

RS Grey or, Rachel, is such a sweet person to talk to. I absolutely loved getting to see her a third time. I don’t have any funny meet stories for Rachel, however, her signature move with her covers grabs my attention with all of her books and that’s why I need someone to control my pre-orders when it comes to her books.
With that said, I still have to choose Scoring Wilder, available in KU, as my top pick for Rachel, it’s such a fun read, even if I do want to stab one of the characters every time I remember her.

Molly McAdams is still my favorite person to see at signings, I mean, look at the way we hug! She’s my real life friend now, I hope she knows she’s stuck with me! If you want to read the ridiculous first meet, jump over to the Book Bonanza 2018 post! This year I didn’t freak out nearly as much, but I did steal 5 pens from her table because she told me any more than 5 was too many, no one can blame me, they’re the best pens!
So with all of that said, my top book for this post will have to be Nightshade, available in KU, because Kieran is the love of my life and I will fight anyone for him. She even signed my copy of Nightshade to say he was ours. To get the full effect, you should really read the whole series, or ya know, all of her books.

If you can believe it, Kim was even funnier at this signing than last years. I still haven’t read one of her books but they’re definitely on my list! My friend asked her why she didn’t have any little banners for her readers and she wrote on a sticky note “Here’s your damn banner!”

Jay McLean is so cute! Granted, I haven’t read her books either, but I mentioned one of my friends who’s in her group and would be super jealous I met her and she said we had to take a picture to show off. Hit me with a recommendation of her books in the comments!

Colleen Hoover is such a sweet person, I know I said this in the 2018 post, but it still stands. She’s also really funny, as is her friendship with Tarryn Fisher, this year right before the event they had quite a game of dares going, it’s hard to tell but Tarryn dared Colleen to go get lip injections, even going so far as to make the appointment for her. And they never backs down from the others dare.
This time, my top Colleen book would have to be Verity, it’s so different from what we’re used to with Colleen that I loved it so much. I’m still conflicted on the ending.

After Colleen logged into Tarryn’s Amazon account and changed the cover of ‘I Can Be A Better You’ to have Colleen’s face in the fig, it had to stay up on Amazon for a certain amount of time before Tarryn could change it back, so she dared Colleen to go get lip injections. And they never backs down from the others dare.
I’ve only read 3 of Tarryn’s books, I know what you’re thinking, what is taking so long?! Well, I’m just…stubborn when it comes to being told what to read. But, my favorite will forever be Mud Vein, that ending? I’m still messed up by the ending.

TM Frazier she’s still one of the coolest people and this year after the signing we hung out with her and her husband in the lazy river, which was also so much fun. Also, her hair? Goals, I love when people have colorful hair.

I admit, at that point in time, I had not read anything by Caroline Kepnes, and guess what? I still haven’t, but I have watched You on netflix and if it’s true to the book, it is messed up. And I love it. I keep saying I’m going to read the series, hopefully soon I do that because the ending to season two has me so hooked.

This is the second time meeting Amy Daws, the first year she was a volunteer, but I ran into her at one point, and called her the wrong name…Initially, it was because my friend and I were joking about how I saw her at random and said “Oh my god, it’s Amy Daws” but it wasn’t so when we did run into her I told her that, except I called her Amy Harmon and kept talking, then I thought about it and was so embarrassed. Now, I definitely will remember her name.

Karla Sorensen and Amy Daws, they’re both so freakin’ tall. It’s totally them and not me. This one is really just for Karla, but all I really had to say was that either one of them could likely kneel and still be as tall as me. I haven’t read one of Karla’s books yet, but I think I’m going to start with Baking Me Crazy, I love a good friends-to-lovers book.

Who doesn’t want to be smooshed by Kandi and Staci’s cleavage?
Then of course, we had to get a regular picture, I love these two so much.
